The Gift Economy

Olga Kivius I couldn't past by their 1st album. It seems to be more wild and free-jazz oriented and the attention to horn section is more obvious - it's impossible to miss the solo of bass-saxophone at all, for instance.
But it remains very musical: you can find here the influences of rock, minimalism, it is full of variety of rhythms, powerful energy; the dynamics of the development of music lines is amazing. The feeling of constant movement that suddenly gets other directions also remains without changes Favorite track: Grant Park.
